If Zajac and Cammy can continue playing this way once Hall comes back, we should be in decent shape to grab a Wild Card spot. Looks like Hall is ahead of schedule too.

Team is looking pretty good and mainly what I hoped/expected. If we win our games in hand over the Rags, we are only 2 points out of 1st. Not too shabby at all!

Moore is bearable as third pair defender and while he makes mistakes he does put in a good effort. I see Merrill look like a spectator on a lot plays and a few goals.

Just playing devils advocate but what do we think to the notion that Cams form has picked up BECAUSE TAYLOR HALL ISN'T THERE, i.e the whole big fish in a little pond syndrome, it's a possibility, Taylor Hall comes in and cam is suddenly not the go to guy, some players have to feel like the most important person in the franchise to be effective, Mike might revert back to October form when Hall comes back. Maybe?

Not as radical a theory as you make it sound, but I still think the Cammy was underperforming before this. Its not like him and Hall played on the same line and they weren't sharing the puck.

Only situation where I can definitely see Hall taking away goals form Cammy is on PP time.

Severson has come down to earth and is making some glaring mistakes, but is still very serviceable. I suspect it is a slump. Zacha is progressing well. He's still making slick plays and excels on the powerplay.
